Hello everyone, if you are like me one reason why you haven't done the surgery is because of financial state, time to recover, and the risk of the surgery. Is there any record of anymore why has ever gotten paralyzed or severe nerve damage from leg lengthening?

Here's a video of a man who faced complications for his surgery, resulting in more surgery.  His also faces chronic pain requiring medication.

To me for a success limb lengthening, depends on many factors, not limited to these (these are some I can think of):
1) skill of the doctor
2) quality, suitability of equipment
3) technique employed
4) your physical reactions, condition, etc.
5) skills of staff involved (some doctors don't stay with you throughout the surgery and rely on others staff with experience) iirc Dr.  Guichet's site has a case with resulted in limp due to staff making a mistake
6) future events (i. e.  if unlucky accidents while having your rod on, etc. )
7) luck

Not encouraging or discouragin you.  Just keeping you informed.
