Australia.  Sucks working with the money here, the value of the Australian dollar is so low (25 000 pounds is $40 000 Australian).

Then you have to earn more to save more. Or, try to lower you´re costs.
Is it expensive to live in AU?

If you try really, REALLY hard enough you can live at a monthly cost here in Sweden of around 3.000kr. That is 324EUR, 446AU dollars and 444US dollars.
That covers everything(rent, electricbills, food - everything).
There are people here(in different internet-forums) that compete who can live with the lowest monthly costs. The lowest one I´ve seen was just around 2.000kr. (297AUD) Sick, but it CAN be done - legally of course. No stealing involved.

This guy was desperate to be a millionare(swedish millionare is just about 148.500AUD): http://miljonar.blogspot.com/
He started when he was 25 and it took him 4 years to achieve his goal.
He did it on a salary of only 2.400AUD after taxes was payed(note: sweden has the worlds highest taxes).
