I am about 1 1/2 " taller than my 5,7" dad making me about 5,9". I do have a few relatives that are taller than me though.

I am of an average 5'8 height, want to be 6' but guess I'll never reach that. Ive made my peace with being 5'11 enough though. I suppose I should be very lucky to even be 5'8 considering how TINY my family and relatives are (most well below 5'7).

I am guessing 5,9"-5,10" is slightly above the male average height around the world? For North America I think that's spot on average height for males.

5'8 is the global average, and I think you're right about the average being round 5'10 in NA.

Exactly the same height. . .

When a man and woman are exactly the same height, you are not really "the same" ;-)

I have brother thats about 5'11 and a half, but looks really tall with great proportions, long legs, arms , torso .

He's about an inch taller than me and when i wear lifts, but his proportions just trumps mine.  ( I have a big head ahem.)

i just constantly regret how much taller i wouldve been now if i actually ate REAL FOOD. I swear my entire meals during those years were just doritos and candy bars everyday.....

How tall are your parents? Genetics does play more of a role than nutrition. You would have to be very malnourished to have stunted a significant amount of height.

Redemption, you asked me a question about how many surgeries I am planning to do to get to 6ft..... I will do them both at 6 month intervals..... it is a pretty high reaching goal I know but I am very confident that I can get it done. I need 12-13 cm to reach 6ft so between two procedures, it should be doable.... not in one though ( I would look like a freak ). I posted my answer here so I didn't take up Dryani's journal with stuff about me. Hope you get the answer and don't mind that I posted it here instead.
