I have no idea if my case is an exception, but I did what the doctors recommended. I think if you wanna play it safe, take x-ray after the 18th months and decide what to do at that time.
Today is the 12th day after the surgery and i can walk slowly unassisted with some mild level of pain. dr Peng told me I would have to wait till the 20th day to get the stitches out.

Man, your cuts look way deeper and longer than usual. No matter though, it's your 3rd and final surgery. You're 100% done with LL now. Congrats!

About my proportion, i can assure you that i'm fine, the guys who met me in Beijing can verify for this  Wink

I'm not questioning whether you look good or not, I'm sure you look fine. It would just be really nice to see them. There aren't enough post-cosmetic-LL pictures around....

Man, that cut on your left is harsh, really harsh.
I'm praying that they don't need to cut mine that big.

That is definitely the biggest cut I have ever seen for a rod removal - you must have had super-hard bones or something.

My cut was only 2 inches across!

But it's not important - I'm sure that it will heal up well as it is in the folds of the knee and mine is hardly visible now.

Have a great recovery!

Cheers, MMT

Good luck, dude - at least things are improving. It would be great to hear from the doctors exactly what made your case so special...

Dear 174,

i have a question to you...

Did you loose your ass???

I read a topic on this board who some user talk about loosing their ass.

They wrote that their ass become flat after LL.

Did you make the same experience??

My butt is very shapely but I am scared now that I can loose my butt like other who did LL.

Please answer me, maybe other user can also talk about it:)

i did not lose my ass.. during the LL period, I lost a lot of weight so I was very skinny, but as soon as I returned home and backed to my feet, I ate more and regained my body shape, including the ass ...
LL will not make you lose your curves if you stick to your diet and exercise regularly.
Hope this helps,

I lost around 5-7kg , mainly due to sleepless night. If you can sleep well and try to eat, that should minimize the effect. Eat healthy stuff.

exactly 4 weeks after the surgery,  all my wounds are healed  Smiley, i can walk "almost" normal again, but not running.
I think this is longest time frame for other vets to plan their time for a rod removal surgery+recovery.

Great! Yes, you took longer, but it is the results that count. Well done Smiley

Looks like you got tortured in the movie SAW.  All those scars will be nearly gone down the road, but the one on your knee will be a little noticeable, but now worries, you can always make up some bul**hit story about getting into an accident.
