Ballerina is very less like 5 degrees. Hot water is really helpful. I wish I would have known things while I was doing lengthening. Crazy+6 |

Don't worry. Everything is fine here. It is safe. There are nice areas but I don't think you would be able to walk outside of house much with frames on your frame. Crazy+6 |

We all are in same place in Dr Sarin's Guest house. At the moment, There are 10 Patients here including 9 International patients and all speak English. Crazy+6 |

So realistically, if I want to lengthen 5 cm tibia, how long will it take until I can walk around without aid? I am going to have to return to school, so I cannot be using a wheelchair or crutches. How many months would you say it will take for me to walk without aid?
Also, I think I have some bow leg compared to normal legs but I'm not sure if it's an extreme kind. How bad does it have to be that I cannot get the operation. And if its just mild, it could actually help in lengthening the tibia more quickly right?
I know it's a lot of questions.

The iskd is not that great an option.there has been quite a few mechanical snags in the iskd after reaching 4+ cm during distraction.also there is no way to stop the iskd nail from distracting suddenly during the lengthening process.also chances of accidental clicking is quite high.ask dr sarin about precise nail which has complete rate control and ability to reverse distraction for better callus growth.it is a much better alternative to iskd.check out tall's diary in the vip section for more details on the precise nail.

i guess it might come in a year or two..also i guess it might get accepted more easily by the indian doctors as precise is quite reliable(All this is my personal assumptions) @crazy+6..dude if you dont mind could you have a word with Dr sarin and ask his opinion on the PRECISE nail and when it would be available in india...the info would surely would help us so much.. thanks for everything you have done for the MMT forum |

I think the ISKD is better for smaller lengthening goals from 5 to 6 cm. I think the ISKD fails in that it can't lengthen large amounts without mechanical failure, correct me if I'm wrong. But I would MUCH rather go with the ISKD on my femurs than have externals on my femurs like Crazy+6. He's an outlier for doing that! (Although a great guy lol)

Yes, he told me via email. He doesn't say how much it will cost, probably because he hasn't decided yet. You are absolutely right, it will be a game-changer for those who are interested in internal. I am thinking to get my femur done with him too. Did you already finished your tibia? |
