I'm posting this subject on this forum because with all the research on this forum I was shocked when I didn't see anything about this.  Does anyone know or have any input to this.  Is it real, scam, or experimental.  I just thought something like this should be posted in this part of the website whether people think its a scam or just a theory that is to far away from real use.

lateral synovial joint loading.  I'm not saying it is or isn't something that actually works.  I'm just throwing it out there for people to discuss because it has been thrown out there in the height increase world and I was surprised that there wasn't a thread about it hear.  Whether that thread was about how stupid/good/interesting or whatever

Theres a lot of information on Height Quest about LSJL and there's an LSJL forum out there too but its not very active from what I last remember

http://www.heightquest.com/2010/10/how-richo-venter-grew-14-with-lsjl.html

"LSJL can work by multiple mechanisms.  One of the mechanisms could be bone deposition on the subchondral plate resulting in Venter's 2mm gain in his left tibia.  Another could be differentiation of stem cells and periosteal progenitor cells into chondrocytes as a result of TGF-Beta, hydrostatic pressure, and hyaluronan-mediated BMP-2.  These cells then form cartilage canals(thanks to MMP-3) through the perforating fibers of the periosteum, then these cartilage canals turn into new growth plates.  LSJL also inhibits MMP-1 which degrades the extracellular matrix."

theres a whole bunch more info/studies on lsjl on that webisite

There have been threads about LSJL and other types of "bone loading" before on this website. Many members here have tried it in their quest to get taller and had no appreciable results. The only way to get permanently taller after your growth plates have fused is elective leg lengthening surgery.

Yeah you're right.  I wish it wasn't so but it is what it is.  I started the thread for a few reasons but I was hoping to hear from a few member who may have tried it and what experiences they had with it.
