Hey ST, keep up updated man! There's a lot of mystery as to what went down in Delhi. It seems as though Dr. Sarin has you kooked up in a haunted hotel or something? Also, is the change of color on the frames an aesthetic change, or does each color correspond to a different external frame? I'm thinking the former. Thanks man, hopefully you can take a lot of pictures of the Indian/Western food you (and others) eat. It would be nice if we could get a solid idea of how the food looks like so there are even less surprises when we get there. Sorry if this is too much to ask man, hopefully you're not in any pain, and there's better air conditioning in the hotel vs. the apartment.

Keep on the lookout man.

STsacrifice4LTgain

is there food other then pizza and ice cream

if so can you list them

Is that a serious question?  Delhi is a mega city.  They have every food and a lot of places will deliver too.  But the best thing to eat a lot while LL is palak paneer and a lot of meat.

Buddy food is the last thing you need to worry about in Delhi. Density here is almost 10000 per square km.  Lots and lots of fast food chains.

Could someone please provide us with a comparison between the older and the newer frames?

MMMMMmmmm.....just had a tasty paneer and rogan josh with oily naan. It's gonna be more curries for all soon. Such a moral boost until you get the runs.

Short-term pain 4 Long-term gain

« Reply #65 on: July 13, 2012, 09:43:42 AM »

DrSarindiaryblogs - I don't wana hear about 'runs'.. I just went through 2days of BAD diarrhea (thanks to delicious curry chicken & yes.. oily & yummy naan bread lol)
Arche - you crack me up man! Thanks a bunch for the support buddy & NO.. its a very nice hotel actually lol and now that im recovering from my stomach pain & diarrhea, I'll start uploading some pics for ya  Wink
Luffy - thanks so much. I will check that out & congratulations on your achievement! Hope your doing well  Smiley
Ankit - the main difference that we've been told between older & newer frames is that the newer frames are lighter in weight
PattyMatty - Thanks for the support! We've been eating good at the hotel & physical therapist is supposed to pay us a visit today..
Pinhead123 - Craig49 is right on point about that!
Craig49 - How are you doing by the way? Hope your recovery is going well..

To All - Ok look.. I know I've said alot of great things about my journey so far & it has mostly been great & I'm happy I chose India. At the same time, this is no picnic, no walk in the park ok.. Don't expect paradise city when u get here! Be prepared for many annoyances.. ex. the constant power outages & loss of A/C or when you ask for something to get done, it may take a few days or it doesn't get done the right way or... it only gets done halfway lol
From the 2 weeks I've been here so far, I've just noticed that things get done pretty slowly around here so keep that in mind & patience goes A LONG WAY but at the same time, when things don't get done when your told they will.. you gotta speak up or else it may never get done  Wink

Love you guys & keep cheering us on. Your support goes a long way  Wink

Yo! I have not read your diary except for the first few posts Good stuff...I will try to read up when time allows.

If money isn't an issue, I think Beijing would have been a very nice option. LON vs LATN....the more I talk to ppl the more I'm learning that LATN has more advantages than disadvantages ...especially for older ppl.

Anways, I want to make new video posts to my diary but....my VPN is now blocked and noticed your diary.

Good luck!

Mdragon - yeah.. it was a REALLY SHITTY situation (PUN intended!) and remember.. I can't walk in those frames.. had to call the receptionist to run over & haul me from the office chair onto the toilet

Ilike8cm - Thanks a lot bud. I've been following your diary too & loved the video of you walking w/ the walker (w/ Too Short playing in the background lol) I have a few really detailed videos I'd like to post for everyone that I fell will be helpful but there's no option on here for uploading videos.

Can you please PM me or post on here how you were able to upload that video of you walking w/ the walker?  Thanks man & hope your able to post new videos soon!

To ALL - The pain has gotten less lately (Thank god! Knock on wood lol) and I have alot of pics/videos that I think will be helpful to all of you but again.. I don't see an 'attach file' button or any other option on here to allow me to upload pics/videos so please let me know the EASIEST way for me to post pics/videos where it'll be easily accessible & noticeable for ALL of you to benefit from.. THANKS!  Smiley

This is how I post pictures on this forum:

first I upload the picture on imgur.com

Then I use the link they give you and copy it.

then I click the insert picture button on the top its the 3rd one from the left and paste the link of that picture in between the two [img] thingies

make sure u click preview button to check if everything worked before posting it.

For videos, may be try uploading to youtube and follow the same directions but use the youtube button instead

good luck!
