Hello guys,

I think im about 80% back as who i was before LL. no more stiffness in my legs when i wake up in the morning; i can jump off the bed and start walking. I can walk as fast as people in Chicago (which is pretty fast) do. I can walk down the stairs (not running down) slowly without holding on anything. The other day i jogged around the whole block and i had some pain the next day, but its gone now - i dont think i would do that again anytime soon.

I still cannot squat; i still need to hold on something to stand up when i squat.

I don't know if you remember, but you were going into your first surgery a year ago.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing your progress and success. Your videos are amazing.

This is me 10 months after my frames off. I hate the scars, but theres not much i can do about them, hope they will slowly fade away.

Thank you for your video!

Those are some nasty scars  Undecided you are doing great!
It looks like you have a little trouble bending your ankles to the maximum and you can't pull your feet up as one should but I think it'll be better by time.

I'm not sure I can do all of that. Not the jumping but I guess everything else. I am kicking every day now and force myself to the gym 1-2 times/day.

I can clearly see that your tibias are equal or longer than your femurs.
Have you ever been bothered by your new proportions?

What are your current thoughts about lengthening your femurs?

Thanks again!

/Sweden - 6,5 months past frame removal.

I still have a little problem rotating my left ankle. Its not that i cant do it, but its not as flexible as the right ankle, and i need to focus when rotating my left. Im working on that everyday.

I believe my tibias is about 1cm longer than my femurs. It doesnt bother me much, but it would be nice if i can add 2-4 cm to my femurs.

I can function a lot better with shoes on.

It has been 11 months frames free for me, however i still cannot squat sitting yet. I have started doing this sitting position for about a week now, my heels cant seem to touch the floor, if i force them down then i will fall back... It will be hard since i cant just doing this exercise anyplace else but home.

My walking is 100% normal. I can walk up/down the stairs. (I still have a little difficulty going down stairs. I walk slowly when i go down.)

-----

I dont know if this is normal, but my lower legs got really itchy sometimes at night. Its been 11 months since i got back, and last night was my 4th night that i had to scratched my legs until they re bleeding...it seems to happen every few months or so....

Your photos doesn't work. Try to upload them in IMGUR.
Use the direct link.

You are 5 months ahead of me so your progress is very interesting.

I can't squat either with heels down. Then I fall back.
But on toes there's no problem to squat.

Downstairs is doable but I'm holding on to the bar just in case.

Hi Stevie!
Congrats on your recovery.
May I ask you how long did you wear your braces after your second surgery?
Thanks.

Hi Stevie!
Congrats on your recovery.

Thanks.

I wore them for about 2 to 2.5 months.

I wore them when i was in bed stretching (fighting knee bending).
I wore them when i was standing (in locking position to fight knee bending and ballerina).
I wore them when i first start walking again (but only for a about a week or so).

Looking good! Smiley

It's crazy how you and Tall4all hop around and stuff. I don't have the balls even after 16 months of frame removal. I am very cautious Sad
