43 days after second surgery.

went out shopping
I didnt need to buy a lot of things and if i really need to buy something i can always asking my maid to do that for me. But i want to be out. I want practice walking, so i pushed a wheel chair as my walking aid to Tesco with me. I ended up spent over 4 hours walking none stop today. I dont have pain, but i know my legs need to rest... Maybe i will go to tesco again tomorrow.

------
Oh shi*... Now my legs are sore everywhere... Hahaha.

2 months after second surgery.

Its been 2 months after my frames came off. I still feel a little stiff on both of my legs in the morning when i wake up. I need to stand 2-3 mins before start walking. I find its easier to walk at night.

I can walk for hours with the crutches; but without them, i can only walk for about 15 mins. I walk funny without the crutches too. I recorded a video of myself walking last night, but i just couldnt upload it to youtube, my VPN crashed like every 30 mins. Iwill try to upload it to youku later.

2 weeks ago, i walked 4-5 hours straight and after that i have some pain around both of my ankles, the pain is still there til today, maybe because i walk too much too soon. I was thinking about stay off from walking for 2-3 days to let them heal. I dont know. I want to be able to walk somewhat normal by the end of next month, i dont want to watse my time here doing nothing.

Everything else is fine. Weather getting better here in BeiJing...

Hi Stevie,

How are you doing  these days? Do you still remember me? I asked you before that i wanted to visit you after the Chinese New Year.  So will you be free this coming Saturday? I am planning to visit you this Saturday.  So when i arrive the hospital, i just tell the nurse that i want to see a friend Stevie?

I am looking forward to seeing you! :)

2 months and 18 days after frames removal

I'm doing pretty good. I can walk without the crutches for about 3 to 4 hours everyday, but my achilles tendon hurts so bad after a long walk. My walking style improves a lot, i dont have that gangster walking style anymore. However, without the crutches, i still cannot walk as fast as a normal person.

I donot have either ballerina or knee bending anymore, but i still feel the stiffness in the head of my gastrocnemius muscle every morning when i just wake up. I kinda limping for the first ten steps before i can walk normal again. Hopefully i can get rid of this problem by the end of this month.

Thats all for now.

3 months after second op:

going home:
I went home without a wheel chair, without crunches, nothing. I walked like everybody else at the airport.

at home:
Everything is okay at home. Everyone noticed my new height yet noone knows how i got taller.
I walk pretty much like a normal person. i can walk up the stares, however when i go down the stares i still need to walk step by step like an old man.

over all:
I am doing okay after 3 months. Walking is not a problem anymore.

correct me if I'm wrong, but you're the one from Australia, yeah? Welcome back. It's great to hear that you've recovered without any major problems. Your video was a little choppy, it would be nice for a better quality one if you have time haha
