Sarkozy is such a knob! Fancy standing on tip-toes for a picture like this... We all know that he's small, why draw attention to it by doing this? How embarrassing? Being short to woman, is the same as being a 150kg woman to the opposite sex. Maybe he is happy with her, but feels a little embarrassed to go in public (what people thinks)? Yes, you didn't say it quite right, but the point that short height makes a man as unattractive to women as excessive weight makes a woman unattractive to men has been suggested in a few studies. Key factor in male attractiveness = height Key factor in female attractiveness = size and figure

When you see pictures of Pierce Brosnan, you can see he feels embarrassed of his wife: That's never what love is about so I wouldn't make that assumption. She has a nice face and would probably be a nine if she lost the weight.

Hey Bon!
What type of positions/stands have you tried? It sounds really interesting. Did you have a teacher or you did it on your own?
thanks
I just picked several out of the 100s of different positions you can have. Again, do it at your own risk.. if you stopped doing it for just a few days, the results would disappear and you would look like a freak again. I gained around 1.5cm in total and i was very satisfy with the results until i lost all those and had to face my social life being 1.5cm shorter again..

I have never worn lifts but, when taking pictures, I would loosen my shoes and lift my heels up a bit inside my pants, so that I get an extra inch in pictures lol.

no shame in that. I actually do the same thing myself. I guess it's a coping mechanism for us vertically challenged people.

Some pictures of Sarkozy. I think he uses lifts.
When I see the top part of the feet standing out like that, usually I think there's some lifts "hidden".
And another funny picture showing the point I discussed in this same post. He is trying to look taller, showing he has "issues". In MY CASE, I prefer to look shorter in the picture, than somebody "catching me" doing that.
Small observation: My sister and my ex-girlfriend (they didn't knew each other) used to move a little down when taking pictures with me. In my sister's case, she was trying to make me look better (or let's say normal) in the picture. But in my girlfriend's case, maybe she was embarrassed? When you see pictures of Pierce Brosnan, you can see he feels embarrassed of his wife:
I'm a small guy, so I cannot "handle" a woman this size. AND if I could, probably I would keep her hidden away from family/friends and even my dog!
Can't remember who was, but I red a very interesting thought here. Being short to woman, is the same as being a 150kg woman to the opposite sex. Maybe he is happy with her, but feels a little embarrassed to go in public (what people thinks)?
Sometimes a keep thinking.........Am I a bastard for thinking this way, maintaining prejudice?
Thats a whole lot of assumption based on pictures. Pretty far-fetched to assume that Brosnan is embarressed my his wife. He looks normal to me. The only thing I would agree with is Sarkozy is definately wearing lifts. You can definately see it as he has shoes with big heels on and probably huge lifts inside also. But posting these pictures doesn't back-up what you said earlier. You said "I saw those "magic" shoes that make you +5cm taller, and you can clearly see that" I have lifts that are +5cm and you can clearly NOT notice them as I posted the pictures. 5cm is only 2 inches and only 1 inch higher than normal shoes so you can hide as easily as normal shoes. Its when people wear these outrageous +10cm shoes that are easily noticeable.

You are right. The "greedy" bastards are the one who @%#^! lifts reputation. =========================================== That's never what love is about so I wouldn't make that assumption.
I wish I could think that way. Maybe I'll go to hell (or banned for this forum for being a troll). Who invented the phrase "pretty from inside" was a very ugly person. The same with "don't worry about what people thinks about you". Who invented the second one was a whore. Pierce Brosnan thinks the same way about you. He loves her (believe me, no matter what). But what about she? If I where the wife of an ACTOR (who appearance is so important), I would care myself a little for him. Maybe this is love too. She has a nice face and would probably be a nine if she lost weight.
The same If I where 6ft. I would impregnate the world! I could make so many children traveling around, that I could enter war with China or India! What's more funny about all this stuff...... It's more likely I'll reach 180cm (from 164cm) than she losing 150kg. I am not religious, but maybe God made me short for being so superficial?

I just wouldn't assume he was embarrassed by her simply by looking at the picture. He seems to have the same expression in most pictures. If you ever get into a relationship make sure the girl knows she'll be out the door if she puts on weight like Pierce's wife. I'd love to see her reaction.

If he were embarrassed I'm sure he wouldn't be with her. The guy loves his wife, whys it so hard to believe? Most normal human beings wont throw their wives or girlfriends "out the door" because they gained some weight.

If it bothered him, he wouldn't be with her... She's mother to his children and still looks beautiful to me - physical attraction is important to get you into a relationship, but there are more important thinks once you're in one

Miknos, please stay on topic - your views on women are not really of much interest to us, nor are they related to the topic.
More importantly, your views are offensive to women!

Now I´ve been wearing them for just about 1 month and I still think they´re great and comfy. A bit warm when the sun is up but they have air-condition at work. They are +9cm and sometimes people look down and I come to think of my shoes for 1 sec but anyway, who really cares for theese thing about one another?
If I should caught my co-worker with shoes like mine it would probably sound like this: "Wow, they look really nice!"
But they´re not ment to be running in thats for sure....

I've recently joined the lift-wearers club, as well; though I don't wear them to work or anyplace where I might be discovered. I've tested them while out running errands, and I have to say the increase is noticeable (roughly 2.75" with shoes and lifts combined). It's hard to be believe such a relatively small increase in height can make such a difference.

Yes - imagine how life is for me now that I am 6.5cm taller than I was in my bare-feet Lifts just set you up to enjoy LL even more, by teasing you with the potential!

Yes, it's quite a tempting carrot that's dangled once one has experienced the extra height. Then it becomes a matter of figuring out how to make that potential a reality (as you have). I'm seeing myself reclining in a bed, with frames on my legs, in a certain Beijing hospital in the not-too-distant future.

Only sky is the limit! ex-LLers would probably love to have a small LL procedure every year I was wondering if there were some lift users who have spent a considerable amount of time trying different brands and types of shoes and could advise on the best ones for work, dance, sports, shower.. share their opinion about comfort vs height - what's the highest lift that's considered unnoticeable. And what interests me the most: Did you ever take serious dance lessons in them?

I discoved shoe lifts and elevator shoes when i turned 19. Im currently still 19 and turning 20 in june. Im 5'4 and i wear 3 inch shoe lifts in my air forces which make my 5'7 and in my timberland boots that when i was measured in school in them brought me up to 5'8 .5. I would definately agree with alot of the previous post that it definately makes you feel better and more confident, atleast it did, now after maybe a year it starts to make my depressed at times because i know im lying to myself. But im dependant on them, i just cant go back to being 5'4 in public and being overlooked and made fun off. Going to college this fall was the first time where i wasnt look at as the short guy for a change. I dont wanna wear lifts forever, and i dont wanna be 5'4 for the rest of my life. ll is the only option, and i know it wont be a walk in the park but at the end of the day, i just wanna be happy. Growing up i always ask my dad "when am i going grow?" and he would be like "you're going grow,it will happen" and then give me a bunch of examples of people who recieved late growth spurts. But it never happen and its depressing and i've cried many nights over my height, and many nights prayed to be given more height. I just dont wanna have this pain anymore. I've told my parents about it and even though my mom doesnt think its really that important, she supports me and loves me and wants me to be happy. My dad on the other hand is strongly against it and constantly preaches that height doesnt matter and gets angry during many of the conversations. He just doesnt understand what im going through, nor does any other man in my family. They are all over 6 foot tall. However back on subject, i wear lifts and wont stop until the day i do this surgery.
