Today is my post op Day 10 :)

I have already lengthened 5+ mm.

Now turning 0. 75 mm/day.

How often do you do the 0. 25 mm turns?

I used to do it 2 hourly or 3 hourly but found it a bit too painful.

Is it bad to the skin and muscle to lengthen too fast (eg, every 2 hour).

I lengthen so fast to have a better sleep at night :)

ive difficulty keeping my leg straight (ie, my knees totally straight out) when lying in bed

doc says must do this to avoid contracture

but i get intense pains at the lateral aspect of my left leg when i do that

muscle pain probably from stretching??

what is this pain all about and who has it?

I lengthen 0.25mm at a six hour interval. 9am in the morning, 3pm in the afternoon, and 9pm at night. It is bad for you if you lengthen too fast, and lengthen slowly should give you a better night of sleeping.

That sounds like a really good idea. Did you get a decent sleep generally during your lengthening session?

Going to another Russian hospital discreetly tomorrow.
I will just say I am going out for a walk.
Taking a taxi L) woohoo. .
Still feeling foggy from 2,5 mg Xanax and 2 sedative shots.
I need  antibiotics, opiate painkillers like tramadol, diazepam injections.
All this to reserve ONLY for emergencies.
I will just tell  them I am in severe pain every night and please help me treat the infections.
Paying by mastercard.
Friend is also bringing 8 tramadol tablets just in case all this nonsense come back.
Don't know how things can get so much worse.  First 3 days was hell, yes.  But I didn't expect hell to come back!
They said it will get better :(
I will do a longer interval and step down to 0. 5/0. 75, to see if it helps with better sleep at night

The reason for all this pain (despite my vigourous therapy  exercise anad good mood) is 3 superficial pin-site infections.
The combined effect makes me unwell.
What are your experiences
Still can walk, and move , , my legs with much difficulty.
Mood REALLY goes DOWN because you feel unwell.
Fever of 37. 7 even though you are taking anti-pyretics (fever meds)

Hello itsmylife, I am just wondering how your results from the surgery with Dr. Bagirov have went? Was it successful?
