I'm restraining myself from posting on here too often as I'm trying to take my opinions to broader places and to review opinions of more people beyond this forum, on this particular issue.
One more question I'm going to post...Here goes.
If a girl was taller than a guy and the most a guy can get as a height boost from shoe lifts is 4 inches, max (maaaybe 5 but I doubt it.)
so say you're 5'5 and you become 5'9. (which in many places is still not much and is still considered short.)
Would a girl, who's say, 5'10, 5'11 or 6ft, be willing to get involved with you, seriously...knowing you wear 4 inch shoelifts?
I heard of guys whom are 5'5 or 5'3 that managed to win the heart of a girl that is 6'0 or 6'1. So, if you're 5'9, that maybe gives you better odds.
But then again, when a girl finds out you get 4 inches from shoe lifts and that you wear shoe lifts. She might be turned off or laugh at you for it. But, would a tall girl consider a relationship with a guy that wears shoe lifts?
Your input please.

Another question is...if you wear shoe lifts at all. Like even just for one or two inches, or maybe even 3, but not for serious reasons, just casual reasons. Like you just like the 3 inch boost, when going out clubbing. (Tall girls like wearing high heels, regardless if they're tall enough) so why can't a guy appreciate being taller than he actually is, even if he's a tall guy on barefeet)
So, if a tall guy wears shoelifts (1, 2, 3 inch ones). Will a girl laugh at him?
Same question goes for if a short guy wears shoelifts (1, 2, 3 inch ones)
or will a girl look badly at him, or down on him, as if he was more "feminine" because he wears beauty aids.
even though women wear high heels as beauty aids so frequently and commonly. Will a girl look at a guy and say, if girls can do it, why can't guys?
or will she go, oh he's trying to be a girl ha ha! and laugh at him for it.

Highly unlikely.
Shoe lifts don't affect your actual height - most girls wear heels, and so lifts don't really give a man an advantage when he's trying to date a girl the same height or taller than him.
Although it does happen, there are very few girls that would date guys much shorter than them, as seen statistically, and through the feedback on this forum.
Shoe lifts are great for one-off things like job interviews, but you cannot look to them to give you permanent height boost - what happens when you're naked, at the beach, or playing sports?
Right now, if a man wants to be permanently taller, LL is the only way to do it. End of story.

I meant it as a temporary means. For when dating a girl thats taller than you. Until you can accomplish LL. Sure, once she gets to know, have dated you. then she might not mind waiting a couple months for you to finish LL. Maybe. Maybe not. But by no means shoe lifts as a permanent solution. Keep in mind that we wear shoes 95% of the day, the rest of the 5% is when we're naked or at the beach. I know its dumb, but its a long reach.

You mean you will wear shoes lift inside the house too?

Well, i did. But i didn't succeed at all. I was always too nervous and scared about my lifts being discovered. Also when i was in her house, you know, to do what you can imagine i always waited for the last moment to take off my shoes and there are a lot of practical things that can happen and would embarras you. So i thought that maybe i should tell her about my plans (probably if you don't use lifts telling her about LL is a bit less difficult but if you do...it can be soooo sad and embarassing). Every couple is different, maybe you'd be able but i couldn't. So finally i gave up the relationship and although she was a pretty, funny and nice girl i remember those months like suffering ones. So my advice is NO

I was actually going to purchase elevator shoes of at least 2 inches from http://www.tallmenshoes.com/. Can anyone give feedback on these? Are elevator shoes more comfortable than shoe soles? Are they more or less obvious?

Are they more or less obvious? Any kind of lift (shoes or insole) that is over 1 inch will be very uncomfortable. Just my 2c.

shoe soles.. insoles.. its all a risky business especially if your wearing 1 inch plus. I think some people can tolerate different insole heights differently in terms of comfort. I only wear an inch lift partly because im used to it and partly because I dont want to be false. I dont know what I would do if I met an amazing women whilst I was wearing say 2 inch lifts... I think I would be reluctant to further the relationship.
I never wear lifts over 3.5cm and would never even try on lifts that would make me taller than what id be having undergone LL.
I tried 2 inch lifts once with a pair of new boots which made me upto 5'9.5 with them on... I had a quick walk around town and it felt amazing... Although I couldnt get away with doing this back home and everytime I looked at my feet I felt like a dyke.

my girlfriend doesn't care about I wearing elevator shoes, actually she likes me to appear taller in public. but different girls may have different attitude towards this. I bought shoes from many websites, like itallershoes. com, tallmenshoes. com, the shoes are pretty good and comfortable.

Honestly man, I think get shoes if it makes you feel better. Ultimately though she's going to see you without them on at some point. She's going to have to like you for you. Don't put too much stress on how to get taller. I'm not a fan of being short but there are plenty of girls out there who like me for my sense of humor or whatever.

So why have you joined a site called Make Me Taller if you don't want to get taller?
