Tess, don't worry I don't think they will call you just to check you height. And for the grow, yes it's normal, you didn't grow in the bones, but you did grow in your catrilages from that medicine. This growth it's not too much,it will never go over 3-4 cm,and maybe in time it will be gone. When you'll be older. Can you tell me what is the name of that homeopatic medicine that you take?

Hi Littleangel, what you say sounds logic, thx for the clearing up and the encouragement for the insurance company. I'm already happy if they do not simply say NO by letter and do not even want to see me ... About the tiny white pills, sorry, I really did not find out. He has them in a small brown glass bottle and when I was asking for the name, he told me rather some ingredients and a combined Latin name, I'm pretty sure he didn't want to tell me. I first thought they were placebos Greets, T.

Hi Tess, those homeopathic growth hormones sound interesting. Do they look like this? May I know what's Dr. Zimmerman's first name? Anyway, if the insurance people call you up and say they will be measuring you, go wake up really early and lift so many heavy things with your back. LOL. Ouch! That would hurt and you probably will have bad posture for the rest of the day and make you less than 150 cm.

This is just my opinion as a man..
For women who already 5'3 or 5'4.... please DON'T DO LL...
Unless you want a career in catwalk modeling...
You'll ruin your romance chances...

Tess,I have left you PM,tell me if you got it jak70,you're somehow right, but every woman is diffrent so...my dream hight is 5"5''. But I will say this, men still look at taller women with long legs more than they look at a 5'3'' one.Come one...I am 35,and I;ve seen a lot in my life, all kinds of men,all ages, and they all do the same.I am not saying that they all hook up with taller women,I'm saying that they all break they neck when a long legged woman is around.

Yup, men like longer legs just like women like taller men, we cannot control what natural selection and evolution has done to our preferences! Unless we have to ability to control natural selection, we are going to have to change ourselves, because no matter what, in general, women are going to like taller men and men are going to be attracted to longer legs.

@Pattymatty: His first name is Bruno. The picture of your pills is maybe taken from veeeery close because my pills are really tiny, not even as big as a baby ladybug. Though the glass bottle looks the same, it could be that! What are those pills on the pic then? So, weight lifting makes you get smaller, not running? Ok, I'll do that then, but being careful not to hurt my back, lol, thx :-). @Littelangel: got it and replied :-) About men liking tall women, they can't resist ... I got a flatmate, quite good looking, married 47 years old. When he had a few beers, he always comes home telling: There was this girl talking to me, she was sooooo taaaaaalllllllll, absolutely gorgeous ... He never talks about sweet faces or beautiful hair, just TALL. Since he knows about my surgery he never said that again :-) he's a great guy, my flatmate :-)

It's great to see the ladies represent on the forum. More importantly, more and more women are writing journals of their LL experiences. Good stuff!

I am 5'2. 5" and I want to be around 5'4"-5'5" and definitely not any taller than that.
I think my torso is slightly longer than my legs and I just want them to be evened out and get those long shapely legs. I think that short women with long legs tend to be just incredibly gorgeous. For the most part I love being petite and being a tall woman just wouldn't suit me. Therefore I have absolutely no desire to be Amazonian height or anything over 5'5" at most.
With heels on my legs look amazing; long lean and perfect. Even just 2 inch wedges can do the trick. But I don't want to have to wear heels/wedges all the time, I want to be able to enjoy a pair of flats without being overcome by insecurity.
The few people I've told about my height dysphoria and LL have told me I am insane. But I'm sure many of you have heard that as well from your loved ones you've disclosed it to as well. At the end of the day, it's up to the individual to take the plunge and do it for themselves and not anyone else.

Agreed. If you are really ready to do it, then your friends - the ones that matter - and loved ones will have no choice but to try to understand and support. I recently told my boyfriend of one year that I will go ahead with leg lengthening. He told me he was hurt that his love for me wasn't enough to help me overcome this urge to change my legs. But I told him that this is not anyone's decision but mine, and no one has an influence on my thinking. It's my choice alone. I think that my boyfriend is trying to understand, and he still cares for me the same as before I told him. I'm 157cm. My boyfriend is 180. My mom is 163ish and so is my sister. I want to make it to 161-162 cm. My legs are short comparative to my torso, but since I'm short I think even 4-5cm will make my legs look significantly longer. I won't have to alter pants finally! This will make me able to look my female family members in the eye, as well as not have to crane my neck back to look up at my boyfriend. >:( Most importantly, though, I hope that I will become at peace with my stature and be able to feel like my legs are sexy, not short. Doing my surgery in January. I can't wait.
